Azure Noir

Azure Noir, was formed in 2007 by emcee/producer King and Morguen Merlot, the former lead singer of In Winter (Cleveland). In Winter opened for bands such as The Birthday Massacre, The Genitorturers,Wednesday 13, Lennon and many more; making them a favorite within Cleveland's underground gothic, rock and industrial scene.

Azure Noir is Trip-Hop, Ambient, and Downtempo with mixed influences ranging from Portishead, Birthday Massacre and Massive Attack to J Dilla, Velure, Zero 7, Morcheeba, and Al Green. Formed by composer King & vocalist Morguen Merlot , the group has worked together to create what they call a “soundscape for life.”
